Liberty Electric inspects, maintains, repairs, removes, retrofits and builds new sites for the top 5 wireless carriers, key government agencies such as the Department of transportations and more.JOB DESCRIPTIONLiberty Electric is currently looking for Tower Technicians (no climbing experience necessary). Tower Technicians are responsible for installation, repairs and maintenance on wireless antennas, antenna systems, and related cell tower sites.We offer:Highest pay in the industryPromotions from within prior to looking for external applicantsPaid holidays, paid vacation, and paid time offGreat Medical and life insurance benefitsCOM training OSHA 10 trainingRadio Frequency safety trainingFirst Aid/CPR training2 week In-house training Travel expenses/lodging/per diem is paid when out of marketQualifications /Requirements:Must be able to pass background check.Must successfully pass a Pre-employment Drug test.Must comply with No Tolerance drug policy.Intermediate iPad literacy.Excellent work ethic, with drive and organizational skills to work unsupervised.Must have a valid driver's license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy (5 years of history).Ability to pass in-house training.Ability to pass coursework to obtain certification.Ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load and to perform work at altitudes above 300 feet.Ability to consistently lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.Ability to travel on short notice.Ability to work hours outside of normal schedule with little or no advance notification required.Applicant/Employee?s weight and tools combined may not exceed 280-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.Applicant/Employee?s waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel as specified by the manufacturer of safety equipment.Must be in good physical condition with the ability to bend, twist, squat and lift 50 lbs. and pull his/her own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly for long periods of time.Excellent customer service skills, with ability to solve problems and maintain positive attitude.Must be comfortable interacting within all levels of company and customer organizations.The proper care and use of hand, power tools and personal protective gear.Education:High school diploma or equivalentJob Overview:As a Tower Technicians some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to installation of new cell towers, maintenance, repairs, or retrofit antenna systems equipment and power systems, sometimes under adverse conditions. This may include high towers, inclement weather, remote sites and long hours.
